Distributors in 1955 were saying that the movie poster depicting an awesome space monster which looked nothing like the one shown in the film, was better than the actual movie.

i just watched it... i was in the mood of a monster movie and this one is more of a thriller like Cat People (1942) otherwise it's not as bad as people say but i could've watched a real monster movie instead i want my 80 minutes back :(
