@urbrotha777 Yes, there is also historical evidence that King Tut lived, but no one is saying he is the son of God. Just because there is evidence that Jesus lived doesn't make him a spiritual deity.

If there is a God gene, then I don't have it. I was raised Catholic and went through the catechism and I can remember around 7 or 8 years old feeling very uncomfortable because no matter how much exposure I had to Jesus and God, I just couldn't feel it or believe it. I was afraid to admit it at the time, because it was wrong to not believe in God - I had no influence from an atheist telling me otherwise, either. I'm now convinced that a belief in God has some sort of genetic component.

More people need to see this. This is why the Cathlic church is dealing with so many Law suits. Who in the hell would wake up one day and decide to be gay? Everyone knew some who was gay from the first day you met them in Kindergarden. Your born that way. Gene's make us who we are, not the POPE!

The God gene hypothesis may be true, predeterminism may be true, and thus not everyone can "come to know Jesus Christ", this creates a big problem for the Christian form of cosmic justice, that those who don't know Christ should roast for eternity.
