This documentary chronicles the life of migrant women workers in Lebanon: their joys, pains, expectations, struggles and finally their humanity.

"Maid in Lebanon II: Voices from Home" poses questions and suggests answers in workers' rights, employment contracts and everyday terms and conditions of work. It emphasizes the importance of improving cross-cultural understanding and encouraging better working relationships.

We have a maid, but we all treat her like one of us. she has been with us for 6 years, we love her and care about her she is a part of our family. i feel sorry for all these who are abused, and i wish if i can do anything to help.

its good to see that someone is publicly addressing issues these women deal with daily in lebanon...only a handful of employers and agencies treat their domestic helpers with repect. its true that the abuse they endure is far more than whats documented here, i've seen ladies passed on to do their employers chores and other relatives requests also-these domestic workers work long hours and are under appreciated. shame on those who use and abuse their services!

@wasso83 no i am maid also but i love my employer dr also from bierut no one is perfect. and some is stupid..i know ther is alot abusing employer to thier maids maids or worker but dr people also..the thing is they just need to know what thier doing is wrong they need to see that ther not alone in this world that we,us, a.k,a maid has the right also with the help of governments..godbless u!!
