For the first time in years I watched Lou Dobbs because I heard he was quiting. Damn it, if he didn't
waste 3 minutes of America's Time for what only required 30 seconds.

  • @OddballAZ, That may be convenient reasoning for you, but let me clarify. I have had many conversations with people just like you that follow the exact same pattern. You start off with name calling..... socialist, communist, nazi, etc. Then you talk in very general terms. People like you can do that till the end of time. Once I start introducing facts into the picture, or actually apply your own argument to you specifically. All of a sudden, the discussion comes to an end. Facts suck, eh?

  • In other words I'm not the first person to realize you are a lost cause. Just keep in mind in a few years when the dollar is worth nothing, health care costs far more than it does now and there are huge waiting lines, unemployment is over 20%, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are continuing with no end in sight, states are seceding from the union and Barry O declares martial law and you no longer have any rights; you were warned but you continued to be his cheer leader anyway.

  • @OddballAZ. No worries, I am used to it. When I have these discussions with people very much like yourself, they always start off with the communist, socialist, Marxist, Nazi name calling thing. But when they start getting down to specifics involving that person and facts are brought into the picture, the other person seems to bow out of the conversation. Thanks for playing!

  • Again dipshit the insurance companies are middle men that we should be trying to get rid of, but the answer is not to replace them with a government run health care system. Do you really want the same idiots who run the DMV to run the health care system?

I'm not going to argue with you anymore. You simply are far too gone to see the truth. Go ahead and worship your globalist Democans and Republicrats. I'm sure they really do care about you. In fact, they will care for you from cradle TO GRAVE.

  • If I get sick tonight, yes my insurance will cover me, because I'm not a dumbass and I make sure I pay attention to the insurance I buy. If I lost my job, I'd find a new one that had insurance instead of being a lazy fuck and expecting the government, and in turn, the rest of the American public to pay for it.

  • @OddballAZ - Is this really about pulling your own weight? Insurance companies today will deny you if your illness cuts into their profits. Simple as that. Even if you pay your premiums for years. You might think that it is simply a matter of pulling your own weight, but thousands that pull their weight die every year because they find out that the insurance company refused to give them coverage because it would be too expensive to treat them. Let me ask you, what makes you special?

  • @OddballAZ - Don't believe me, the fact is that the World Health Organization ranked US as #37. What is your #1 based on? What happens if you come down with an illness tonight eating a sandwich while watching Fox news? Will your insurance cover you? If you lose your job and insurance and have to GET insurance and can't because of a pre-existing condition. If you get sick, your choices will be bankruptcy and death. All of a sudden, you won't be pulling your weight according to your logic.

  • @DavidSilverlight No no no. You don't understand it. The GOP doesn't offer an alternative BECAUSE THEY PLAY FOR THE SAME TEAM AS THE DEMOCRATS!!! You can sit there and say we are not #1 in health care. I don't see you running off to Cuba to get health care.

America is built on working and pulling your own weight. You have no right to health care because that means you have a right to make someone your slave to provide you with health care. If you don't pull your weight then you fail.

  • @OddballAZ,you may call it a communist option. Namecalling is fun isn't it, but look at the facts out there. We are not #1 in the world in healthcare, we are past #30. Half of the bankruptcies in the country are for medical reasons and a big majority of those people HAVE INSURANCE. The reason that the GOP doesn't off an alternative is because this has nothing to do with healthcare. The rightwing wants Obama to fail and healthcare is just another item sacrificed. They are obstructionists.

  • @OddballAZ, the insurance companies have seen a 400% increase in profits over the last 6 years. They accomplish this by not covering the people that are paying for their policies if the illness coverage eats into their profits. That may be good for insurance companies and they can easily double your premium over th next few years, especially if they see how the GOP will fight their battles for them and spread their lies. I will ask again, who are the tyrants in this situation?
