  • How Many strings does this harp have?

  • @henryfan91 45 strings. Rosewood back & cedar top, I have two of these harps close to finished, selling as a kit for anyone who is competent at woodworking, & wants a cheap version of this harp. Only requires assembly & fitting of soundboard, & then fitting the already assembled neck & post to the soundbox. Then fitting hardware, details & finishing.

  • I love these! I really wish they were commercially available, cos' I'd buy them, for sure!

  • @skingaz

Thanks skingaz. I design my harps & make them myself.

Get in touch if you are serious about buying one.

  • please!! what arre the names of the pieces you've performed? specially the last one! it's beautiful!! :D

  • @danbiazoto

    1) The Drunken Gauger

    2) Si beg, Si mor

    3) Carolans Welcome Home

    Thanks !

  • @alyvil13 Lot of questions. I have been working as a muso for about 25 yrs, so the harp was quite quick for me to learn. Like most instruments, its all up to the individual how quick it happens, but the harp is probably the most forgiving instrument you could start with, & from the very start it sounds great. You don't have to wait to hear nice sounds. Most of my students are playing arpeggios in the first lesson, & usually have their first piece in a few weeks if they work at it. Good luck.

  • Thanks to this a unicorn crashed through my ceiling

  • @megsingingmeow An extremely interesting comment! - After having listened to Pachelbel's Canon in I don't know how many different versions I came to the definite conclusion that yes, Music does indeed heal, like no other medicine. IF the world really LISTENED, War itself would stop dead in its tracks! Check out the Yoga of Sound as taught at the Sant Mat, Radha Soami Colony in Beas in the Punjab, India. - That seems to explain everything! I'd LOVE to hear Mark play the Pachelbel Canon! SUBLIME!!

  • @mdharp How much do you sell the kit for?

  • This is lovely. I WILL play one someday.

  • absolutely beautiful o.o
