  • but he can be BETTER at using the weapon. instead of stabbing all over the place, hooligans can now learn to be more "efficient", do more damage with the least amount of effort. And you're adding to the problem by posting this on youtube. The problem with the sayoc and everyone else selling knife training videos is that they don't give a shit who learns it. As long as they can make a filthy buck, they couldn't care less. it must buy them a lot of twinkies..

  • hey !!!! watch it bro !!!!!... i like twinkies.

  • so what did YOU learn from this video? i doubt you will be able to apply any of these techniques from just watching them. my point is that it is not as easy as it looks to be technical with a knife, but whoever wants to use one with bad intent not this or any other video will encourage/help him/her.

  • @MAS4To- so,I shouldn't practice shooting my gun and throw away my CCW permit and get rid of my pocket knife cause I may kill the violent child rapist whom gets his hands on my 8 year old daughter because in your view that wouldn't be the moral thing to do. Interesting.

  • @Shiftee88

I don't want to argue about this, and while I completely understand your line of reasoning, that is not how the law works.

Police only ever shoot to kill if the person is armed and highly dangerous. There is no excuse for murdering someone, having already disarmed them.

What you are describing is not self defence, it's revenge. This means that killing the assailant would be a crime of passion, rather than self-defence.

  • @MAS4T0 If someone has just tried to kill u with a knife i think its perfectly reasonable to disable that person completely. If that means stabbing them to death then so be it. Even the police shoot to kill when confronted with someone with a weapon. To me its perfectly reasonable. If i was a juror i would say not guily

  • @Shiftee88

In which case you'd go to jail for murder...

If you did manage to get the knife from the assailant, and accidentally caught him with it in the heat of the moment, that's one thing.

If on the other hand, you had in fact spent years learning how to kill someone with a knife (and thus had killed that person on purpose), that's a completely different matter.

Ever heard of 'reasonable force'? Well, I can assure you that slashing someone's throat is not considered reasonable force.

  • @MAS4T0 I disagree. If someone attacks me with a knife im gonna do my damn best to take it off them and bury it in their ass. Ill tell the judge and jury it was self defense.

  • @Shiftee88

You didn't read my comment properly. "Unless the training is focussed almost entirely on defence against a weapon, it's a rather useless style..."

What I was saying is that while knife defence may be useful at some point, learning how to handle a knife (by which I mean "kill someone with a knife") is of absolutely NO use to civilians.

  • @MAS4T0 I dont know which utopia u live in but i live in London and people carry knives all the time, and use them. And a lot of the time they just get a caution for posession, and a few years if they stab sum1

  • Oh and not all knife guys are fat, I'm 6 ft 205 and bench 300. Tuhon Tom can still throw me around like a ragdoll

  • Mast- if you're mentality is to " defend " against a blade you wouldn't last long and there is nothing to keep the attacker from going all out, and he's not gonna stop just because you're good a blocking. Ya gotta be the feeder. Only after you learn what a blade can do will you know how to defend " defend " against it
