  • "Q: One thing we heard was that you actually got offered £150,000, which is a lot of money when you're out of work..."

Has inflation in the UK, in the time it's taken me to watch this video, gotten incredibly out of hand or is £150,000 still a lot of money even if you're IN work?

  • Hmm... this is very true indeed. Something I may have overlooked! Didn't I say especially?

  • its not "jon mcclure from reverend and the makers" its jon the reverend and his band are the makers

  • get over it.

  • i love hoe it REALLLLYYY glamourises morecambe.

i wish i had the jobs of jack wild and hannah farrell.

    Very Good interview!

  • well, morecambe is a classy town.

you can't have our jobs... but when we're famous you can say "yeah, Jack Wild and Hannah Farrell, I know em, they're alright... not too much of a big deal. Y'know, I'm not fussed. BUT I KNOW THEM!!! JACK'S BEEN TO MY HOUSE!!!!"

  • I love the idea of a collaborative network of musicians and artists that lean on each other, live together, write together, tour together, hang out together. And they all share qualities, but at the end of the day you can pick each one out in a line-up. AND they're all from the same town...

it's almost exactly like New York in the 1960s and 70s, but in Sheffield in the 2000s. Don't tell me that collection of weirdos wasn't trying to get famous off one another.

  • I had so much respect for this band before i seen this video!! No Soap is one of my faveroute songs for awhile now... This gimp, what the fuck like??? got this great attitue about not being signed coz of some moral high ground!! more likely coz your a complete nob!! They say never meet your heros coz you'll only be dissapointed. in this case its never watch your heros on youtube.. I had high hopes for this band, but judging by this looser I wont see much more. Pity

  • I don't get it. He's saying that he doesn't like the fact that people at gigs shout regional stuff like 'sheffield' and 'yorkshire' but nearly all the artists that he hangs around with and makes music with are from the sheffield music scene ???

  • ayll ave the dog end mush

  • John mcclure reminds me of a funky john cooper clarke.

  • Good on him, The Reverand is a legend, He talks sense to.. His tunes rock...

  • what about him is a cunt

why is it a bandwagon band that will be soon forgotten even though they are more popular today than a few years ago

  • shithouse id love to disagree with you about them being forgotton about in a year cos its true but their not shit now
