  • I hate when people say Bruce Lee would get whooped in ufc. Are you fuckn kidding me?? Have you seen most of those ufc fighters? They are sloppy as hell!! Bruce Lee would have dominated them all.

  • @joseph941000able Cool story bro.

  • @joseph941000able it does seem like their sloppy, and they hesitate like a MF

  • @shubroto81 MMA is a combination of all those things indeed, and more. Although the whole idea of cross-training was not new by Bruce's time, he popularized it more than anyone else, and based his whole martial arts philosophy on "absorb what is useful, discard what is useless" he's essentially a blueprint for the MMA fighters of today, superbly skilled, incredible strength and conditioning, brilliant cardio and uncanny flexibility

  • @lonewolf1344 i agree with you but MMA is a combination of muay thai, karate, judo and BJJ..everything....but yea if a few lads accosted me yea muay thai and sambo would be my picks but the diff is in the ring u are facing a highly trained opponent who has skillz as opposed to someone on the street who is just a street fighter and a thug. So the scenarios are diff and the same punch that might destroy a street fighter will barely graze a cage fighter...so there are differences.

  • @shubroto81 yeh that's true, i can see your point. just out of interest, say you went to the chippy with your mrs, and a few lads started haggling you both, would you rather be a BB in BJJ?, or a BB in Muay Thai? (to defend yourself) Id take the Muay Thai black belt, the last place you want to be is on the floor in "teh streetz"

  • @joseph941000able LOL Wow

  • @lonewolf1344 that works both ways, imagine what damage someone who has a excellent ground game could do if there were no rules. And they'd know a lot more tricks as well.

  • @shubroto81 Bruce Lee wouldn't let that happen to begin with.

  • @shubroto81 Also, there are a lot of compromising positions during a fight (especially on the ground) where a well placed groin strike would end the fight, but obviously that isnt within the "rules"
