@MrZangetsu468 It's also no coincidence that the Egyptian pharaohs, demi gods, deities and pantheon of gods held implicit ties to the stars and the Nefilim who coincidentally according to Sitchin's work came to Earth in Search of Gold and held their own secrets to eternal life through the tree of life, but I digress

The real 'philsopher's stone' is created from superheating gold until it becomes a white powder whose electrons have +ve & -ve properties, namely with weight. (this is where the 'turning to gold' myth stems from) The Egyptian Pharaohs used to use that powder to create breadbuns which they would eat, said to prolong life. This has been recorded on some of their selected artworks/ carvings etc. Saint Germain discovered the secrets to Alchemy and lived forever, ppl still think they see him today.

Alchemy in Castlevania... well, I supose the allmighty magic-religious-sience can explain the whip's holy power and the fact that the Belmont clan bears "Divine Bloodlines " (yes, that's a reference to Richter's theme xD) can unleash the true Vapire Killer's power n_n
btw, do a google search of Nicholas Flamel, it's intresting for those who like Alchemy... I guess.
I've heard of the Philosopher's Stone from so many games and animes, namely Full Metal Alchemist
I think it was in the game Shadow of Destiny as well

Partly, yes. According to the legend, the Philosopher's Stone could turn any other metal (lead is mostly referred to) into gold. But alchemists also sought ways to gain immortality, specialized knowledge and other abillities.
