It's a Yamaha PSR-340 keyboard, a 1997 model that was $700USD when it came out. The snare and upper range on the keyboard are too piercing to the ears, so I have it running through a behringer vocal processor which takes away 95% of my tone problems. The Yamaha drum machines I prefer because of the A-B function to change it up for a chorus, this is one of the best beats as an example. Newer keyboards have A-B-C-D, all the PSR series works best for the solo musician who will do a bit of piano

I was running the harmonies at -2dB but after listening to this recording I now run my stage at -1 for the harmonies. I use 2 drum machines, have a cheap one tied into my keyboard via midi so I can utilize the wired in foot pedal for just a kick drum when you want to do an intro without the full drums.

The harmonys sound very good . Impressive. What kind of drum machine are you using?
Pretty nifty stuff, Adam. You bring your own PA usually, or do you 'get' a PA with a soundguy? Good job, though man. I've been checking out your vids, and I must say very well done!

@Scottulus Thanks man, although I gotta bow to your fingertips! Yeah that's my smaller PA for the <250 crowd which is what this bar was rated for, and about 1/4 of the lighting that I carry now. I can do a show for about 800 without rentals. I run full backing midi tracks now for most of my songs so this one man can chase bigger shows and actually make a living, not just gas money.

@adamf1978a Here it was just a loop pedal during the solo and a the drum machine. I've done my own sound in a 650 person bar a few times, (BJ's) lot easier tuning 3 channels once the midi levels are set, but I don't like soundmen cause you can't do ACDC and Johnny Cash on the same mic level, and they tend to be out of the booth when I need them.
