PART 3 of 3. A grey, cloudy day, perfect really for a day out with my mates Danny, Luke, Fred, another Danny, Richard and "smiley". Loads of bl**dy pendolinos, vomiters (oops, I mean Voyagers) and 350s!!!! But appart from that, I enjoyed seeing my first EMT liveried 158(810) and seeing a rather nice white Network Rail OHLE maitenance train, numbers DR98003, DR98004, DR98009 and DR98010, stabled next to platform 12 for some time.
Also, Freightliner's AC Electrics came in for a little holiday to platform 8, which included my first sighting of a FL liveried 90, number 90046, with friends 86610 and 86612 which we saw shunting around the DMD just south of the station. But, before the green electrics came in, about 60 minutes early, but expected, Direct Rail Services' 47712 (first time I've seen a DRS duff) 'Pride of Carlisle' and 20301 with 20304 arrived into platform 8, working the 0Z40 Crewe Gresty Bridge - Barrow Hill.
What a lovely, but misserable (weather wise) day! Thanks boys for the great day out!
PLEASE NOTE: THE FILMING WAS DONE ON THE FAMILY CAMCORDER, A SONY HANDYCAM
MY NEW PANASONIC SDR-S26 ARRIVED YESTERDAY (31-12-09), AND WILL BE VIDEOING USING IT FROM THIS SATURDAY ONWARDS
