@Barbiebratzgal123, Sewing machines are very expensive up front, not counting the repairs they need sometimes. They go anywhere from $80 to over $1000. Check to see if someone in your family will let you use theirs first if they have one. If not then start saving or put it on a wish list. I suggest a full size one by the brands Singer or Brother. Check online for them. For this tutorial though you don't have to use a sewing machine. I just do it to make my stitches neat. Good luck.
