  • very very good ^_^ thank you!

I love the way how you snap the pieces on the board

  • Thanks.

Then you should definitely see lesson #4.

  • good English, btw i enjoy these videos (are there any other japanese board games that are somewhat heard of but highly under sold in north america?)

  • Thanks.

I'm afraid I don't understand what "under sold" means.

  • @HIDETCHI it means that its hard to find =]

  • @swspartan327 I see. Then one board game I can think of is Go or Igo. Another famous board game in Japan. But I guess it's more heard of and more reachable from America than shogi is.

  • I laughed at 4:46

  • @yashirokyu Ye yeah, i know, saw it lately. I began to practice the kanjis meaning and im getting better playing the game but memorize it kanjis imply a headache lol. This videos will makes me an amateur-pro gamer, i guess ._. Thanks, i ll gonna practice harder.

  • @FuckTheSystem321 I believe there is no tips. But in the Lesson #5 you'll find explanation of meaning of kanji and closer look into all pieces. And believe me, that after few games, recognizing pieces won't be a problem at all.

  • Ohhh shit, this board game is so hard :(. The letters sets in pieces are to dificult to learn. Some tip to memorize it quickly? D:

Nice video, i hope learn shogi play mode with your videos.

  • how do we hold d pieces ?

  • Very well made videos and i enjoyed the visuals that you used.

  • i feel like i'd enjoy this form of chess, it looks like it would be a hell of a lot harder than chess, given you can re-use captured pieces. thanks for the tutorial!

  • Thank you.
