This documentary raises awareness of the different career opportunities that young women have as well as the challenges faced through presenting the experiences of successful women in different professions from the Middle East, North Africa, and the UK. It showcases the successes of professional women in various fields and exposes young women and men to work-life balance challenges faced and overcame by those women. Its main aim is to encourage young women to consider alternative career options than what is typical to their society as well as encouraging men to have an open-mind and accept alternative career options for women so that both can contribute to positive social and economic development.

This initiative falls under a British Council programme called Women at Work. Women at Work is a programme that links women in professions where they are under-represented in the Middle East and North Africa with their counterparts in the UK. Its purpose is to encourage young women in the region to explore different career options and challenge perceptions and stereotypes of the types of careers that are suitable for them. An important part of the programme is showcasing successful professional women who have taken part in the programme along with role models and using their experiences to inspire and inform younger women and men at the points when they are making decisions for their futures. This documentary is a by-product of such an initiative.

This film is directed by Carol Mansour, a renowned Lebanese flimmaker of Palestinian origin. Her films focus on socioeconomic issues; they have been screened at various international film festivals and have received various awards.
