Personally, I believe it best to upload the content onto your website directly. When the article is crawled by Google and positively ranked in the organic listings, it gets people onto your site and builds your reputation as the authority on a particular subject or market.

If you do submit to article directories, it's always best to write original material. I personally think it's tacky to redistribute material just for organic ranking. There are endless ideas out there.

Ive heard it is best to submit one article to 5 article directories. But would using 5 articles duplicate content be a negative for google? Should I spend the time and spin the article before publishing it to 5 directories or does it not matter much? Thanks!
