I remember watching this game live and just laughing and laughing... it still cracks me up! All the poor misguided Cub fans tried to blame Bartman but the truth is Alex Gonzalez, Mark Prior, and Kyle Farnsworth farted out one of the worst innings in playoff baseball history. 3-0 Cubs! FART 8-3 Marlins! XD

I watched this live - I remember being so mad at my dad. We were up 3-0 and he was too nervous to watch, so he left to go on a walk. When he got back, he thought I was joking that we lost 8-3. Such a sad day.

Cubs never will win another championship ever! and it really is a shame because I know how it feels to have to wait and wait for 1 of my teams to win a title! Im a Mets, Jets, Knicks and Rangers fan so yeah the last team to win something was the 94 Rangers. waiting forever sucks so bad!! The good teams overcome things like that. The owners were never capable of assembling a world-class team, & no one told them that a franchise is allowed to do that plus make money i.e. the Yankees and Red Sox. Why haven't the Flubs won a playoff game since then? Which of the fans is to blame for that?
