BLACK IS THE COLOUR (Traditional Song)

The idea of this song came to me when I was playing with the light on my simple webcam. The dark mysterious tones spoke of ghost stories and I looked through my repertoire to see what song might fit. So I suppose the song chose me. Some people might feel uncomfortable with the ghostly image although the words speak of pain, lost love and emptiness. A ghost that will never find peace...'and die a thousand times' The song isn't a laugh a minute but I enjoyed the theatre of this 'one take' performance especially when the ghost rises and falls away...
