That was a form of siniwali in Underworld, Heaven and Earth Six I believe. I think that's the best whip scene in a movie ever. Do a Youtube search on Joseph Simonet, he's got a good video on doing Heaven and Earth Six with sticks, you can adapt it to whips once you get used to it.

@JSparrow53 it's nothing too sophisticated all you need to practice is the: overhead crack, cattleman's crack and the underhand flick in both hands the rest is basically flowing the whip through the air

They look like Florida cow whips to me (different attachment style).
It also looks like he's using quite a bit of muscle, try using body weight and positioning To take some of the strain out of the arm while keeping the same amount of force in the whip
But that's some really really nice whipwork, anyone know the name of that move as seen in underworld if I remember rights it's a eskrima move?

Wow! This video's a BIG help. I'm learning whip fighting-well, actually a rough 'freestyle' of whip fighting-and after practicing some of these moves(successfully, ow...whip scars..) I've been able to move onto harder techniques.
