This is my favorite piece! I absolutely love it! Although I do not love how my flute conked out on me at the last note, and refuses to play a low C-natural. Hopefully it was nothing, but that is my excuse for the lack of a last note.

As always, please leave a comment! Anything that you can critique? Different interpretation? Vibrato speed, color, posture? Please comment!! Thanks lots!!

  • oh my gosh! you are such an amazing flutist! My cousin plays the flute and I have grown to love the instrument.. so beautiful! :) Keep up the good work, xoxo

  • Thank you so much for the complement; it means so much to me. This is my favorite piece, because my flute teacher told me to envision the saddest thing that ever happened. Yeah, every time that I play this, I almost cry.

  • I would take care on your tempo but its nothing bad, its hard to play the piece solo without a piano, its easier accompanied. I tend to improvise aswell when playing solo (turns out to be a problem when i begin playing with a piano ^^) but keep up the good work!

p.s its also one of my favorites :)

  • Why does it look like the flute is on your left? Did you flip the video?

  • You know this is the first time im hearing this piece and so far i really like it. i think i will have to learn it one day. Really wonderful playing :)

  • I noticed that your head is angled down. Try to keep your head up, it will improve your sound and intonation. This one of the pieces I am currently working on.

  • what a beautiful sound ;)

the rythm is not correct...i play this piece with my Flautist too for a composition and i tried to play to your music but it was impossible ;)

  • This would sound really nice on a wooden flute which you like.

  • i know exactly what u mean b.c music is my passion also & it moves me in so many ways.. that's why i'm also very lyrical too b/c when i sing those words i really feel them within my heart& have had times where i have cried, but i see that as a good thing cuz it shows how authentic u are & what a special outlet it is.. & the melody itself such as u and ur flute conveys the same feelings as if there are words that don't need to be seen.. you're beautiful and very talented.. always remember that :)
