you where not there, I was , the 1950s and early 60s was a very special time,it was not perfect,but there was a excitment for the future,
-
@Tedsel61 they weren't "optimistic" back then either; that's just people looking thru nostalgia lens good sir. As my history teacher once said "the good old days never happened".
Life is always getting better, it's just not what people choose to see.

The 1960s was a idealistic time, People today are not optimistic, we need the back, life can be wonderfull. lets stop with all the sarcasm in the world, it can be great.
-
@DellDuckfan313 It's now "There's a Great Big Beautiful Yesterday". mentality.
-
@zac613 Agrees. I didn't used to think that way but now I see the light.
-
@DellDuckfan313 I AGREE. Now TomorrowLand has basically turned into Pixar MovieLand, and I'm sick of it! The only way we could get back the GBBT mentality back is if people could freaking relax and not be tooo worried about political correctness and just let their inner kid lash out and have fun! People r so worried these days about what to say that it's starting to ruin everything. oh well. my rant is over and i'm stepping off my soapbox now... lol
-
Whatever happened to the There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow mentality? And how can we get it back? Cause we really need it back.
-
@TheBANANAMAL ah ok. lol
-
i always wondered why they used Cinderella castle for the cover.... when it's the DisneyLand 50th Ann. CD. oh well lol
@zac613 yeah, maybe I shouldu've put the 50th anniversary cd cover on there, but I was lazy, so I just slapped the castle on there and said, "It's magical"
