I was doing some testing of the camera in the new iPad 2 and had this strange artifact start showing up on the sensor. It seems to be triggered by bright white points. I'm not sure at this point if it is a defect or simply a shortcoming of the low end camera sensors Apple is using in the iPad 2

I experience the very same glitch. I searched to see if anyone had the same issue as me. Could very well be software related.

Haven't had this glitch at all. Only glitch I've had is the one where in FaceTime you get a static image of yourself before making a call.
