  • I have the liquid metal 4 and my string (main) just poped. Can you tell me what its power and control level was (like on the ones by Dunlup they have that little chart. I can hit hard with it and generate topspin but i want one thats a little more topspin friendly . What do you think of Dulups Hexy fiber, Black Widow explosive polyester, Juice and HEADs IntelliTour.

  • @uwiththehair i don't know the dunlops, I know the wilsons. I would suggest to you that you try the various one--BUT ask the stringer--is it a stiff string or a soft string--the softer the string--hollow core etc, it will give you more spin. a stiff string will give you more power. polys are generally stiff

  • what do you think about the Weiss CANNON Mosquito Bite 1.16 String??

  • @crazyphilly555 never tried it

  • I use pro hurricane/xcel at 60lbs on a roddick gt+. I had arm problems. I'll try lowering the tension.

I also have a aeroprodrive cortex+ with a TNT2 at 58. I hate it too bouncy but the feel is good. Maybe I'll tighten it up tension next time.

  • @12396Danny it's expensive though... but it's soft, gives good spin, and is a top notch string. BUT there's cheaper strings. babolat magic

  • @hi10spro Okay thanks, do you recommend NXT? Thanks

  • @12396Danny OHHH then you need to avoid the polys, too stiff for your frame and your arm. you should go to a hollow core string--think tubes--no centers or SOFT strings that fray--technifibre, wilson nxt. those strings will grab more but you get a different feel and won't hurt your arm

  • @hi10spro Well, if they break really quick then I'll probably stay away from them, I'm not going back to Luxilon - It gives me arm problems after a while, good string though. Thanks again.

  • @12396Danny if you're string bed has big holes--string bed of 16x18, and you hit mad topspin, you'll break it really fast-- i can break prince synthetic in 10 hours of hitting. if your racquet is a classic head type--18x20 or something like that, the string will last longer--try prince let er rip--it's a poly/syn blend that plays well...and if you like the stiffness--go full poly luxilon (freaky awesome power)
