Hes right, golf takes a great amount of strength, flexibility and conditioning to play at a high level. Your spine has to be continuously readjusted because golf is a sport where your body is not moving in a natural motion at all. That's why it takes so much control and patience. Not to mention you put a lot of force and pressure on your knees and especially your legs, which can cause damage or tares, which is what happened to tiger. Another fun side note, golf has the least amount of pros.

it is a lot more athletic than it looks especially for the pros, i mean tiger swings the club at something like 120+ mph, if something goes wrong with the swing at that speed, you could easily teat a ligament or something...
