1) To him, marriage is not about love.

2) He values his wife, dog and ice cream at the same level.

3) 2 Guys having beer at a bar agree with him.

4) Christians have mucked up marriage themselves pretty badly.

5) While Bush didn't push the issue - the votes were somehow because people "woke up" to the idea.

I just which people would stop twisting and manipulatiing religion to justify their own hate, prejudice and discrimmination. Im gay and my mother raised me as a Catholic and in the bible it says God loves us all and created us in his image and he knows all. I believe thats true. In Europe, ALL unions are civil, before a legal magistrate. IF, after the LEGAL civil union is held, any couple; gay or straight, wants to be married by their clergy or otherwise, fine, but that is not the legal union recognized by the government. Like it or not, just as Blacks, and inter-racial couples finally recieved the legal right to be joined in matrimony, it WILL happen for LGBT people .. sooner than later.
