Josef Stalin was one of the great dictators of the 20th century. During his reign of almost 30 years millions died by famine, executions and slave labour. Millions were deported into inhospitable regions of the USSR. The Soviet society remained in terror and stagnation for victims were chosen randomly. But with his reign is also the won war, the Soviet rise to superpower and a vast industrialization connected. For this achievements he is treasured in todays Russia without questioning the terrible prize.

Like all important persons, Stalin and his minions were targets of mockery. According to the brutality of the regime , those jokes were very dark and it could be lethal to tell them for in Stalin's Empire nobody could trust no one. Children denounced their parents, wifes their husbands.

  • @trupoed12 Kind sir, may I ask you why am I a degenerate?

  • @smelloftheice its strange that the degenerate like you feel sorry for normal man

  • @freeman8128 Yes, it's the "Song of Stalin". It was written by Matwei Blanter and Alexej Surkow in 1938. The version I used is the German one sung by the East German actor Ernst Busch in 1949. For the lyrics try google and use the German title "Stalin, Freund, Genosse".
