I think India is one of the most cultured and tolerant countries in the world. Christmas and Good Friday are national holidays in a country which has about 2-3 % Christian population which speaks volumes about the tolerance and acceptance of the country. I think its just the difference in culture and lifestyle that causes the problems. I agree it can be intimidating for a white woman in India but making comments about the country in general reinstates western stereotypes about india.

Goa is one of the nicest place in India

Indians are very generous in nature to foreigners either white or black

It's only because of some sick people news like these are made

It's always safe to be in group where ever you go as a tourist whether it's India or some downtown US city
