  • god damn it, this is not a deadlift! He did it all wrong

  • Ultimate lift. Floor to over your head quickest route. This is "weightlifting".

  • @Rogelio22 On the sauce means he's an alcoholic. haha. No disrespect, but you are kidding yourself if you dont think olympic weight lifters are on.

  • @Rogelio22 Drugs aren't the issue. russians beat the tests all the time. Russia went with Chigieshev for beijing. Misha is now representing Belarus and is devoting himself to olympic lifting to represent them.

  • I would think that he is not an olympic weightlifter anymore, even though those are olympic medal lifts he performed in 2007, because he is on the sauce. Steroids are not tested in strongman competition where as to be a professional olympic weightlifter, you are strictly tested and will face long term bans if tested positive. With those lifts in 2007, he could have trained to have won the olympic in 2008. I am only speculating with the use of steroids for I absolutely respect this man.

  • WHOA! Arguably the most versatile lifter ever!

  • what the fuck?

  • lol what are you 8?

  • Fast pull into low position, slower recovery. He wanted to insure he kept control. Yes, he looks good for a theoretical 500 pound snatch. Gee.

His OL lifts appear better than his power lifts, probably because he trains mainly overhead lifts. I don't think Andy Bolton could do that snatch.
