AvP2 Walkthrough - Marines 5

pretty hard mission on the hardest difficulty: a long way, without opportunity to save, to the only enemy which is hard as hell to kill.

0:15 - dare to stay at the elevator and see what happens (no, it won't blow with you)...

0:35 - run to the wall and the predator can't hit you, although he will still shoot a shot or two at you and flee, for now...

1:42 - activate that pannel to trigger the death of a marine, leaving behind a pulse rifle just for you xD

2:00 - optional, but smartgun bullets are always welcome xD

2:32 - sometimes there's a predator where I'm aiming. if he shoots at you, run to where I'm aiming at 2:31 and, in most of the times, you can dodge the shot

2:52 - there are three ways to fight this predator: shoot at him on the way (the motion tracker really helps here, and don't forget that the smartgun is not so smart) or wait for him to stop on the end. the latter divides in two: you can use the shoot-and-take-cover strategy or the spear-no-spear strategy: get close to him and he will draw the spear. get close so he attacks with it BUT get away so you avoid the attack. in the meanwhile shoot at him. don't get too much away or he will draw the plasma caster, which he will use being you close or not.

3:38 - that's where he stops to jump down at you. I didn't gave him the opportunity...
