If you have mild to moderate psoriasis... consider yourself lucky and live with it. This is not a recommended treatment for people with severe psoriasis. Sunlight or other UV treatments are also more harmful than helpful in the long run. The cause of psoriasis is unknown and THERE IS NO CURE, only gimmicks and doctors who know how to play on your emotions and milk your wallet.

@Tex999as everyone is different. No, you don't need to go to the Dead Sea. You can soak in salt water right at home. I put 8 cups of water softener salt ($5 for 40 lbs at Walmart) in the tub and have a nice 30 minute soak. It reduces redness, scaling and irritation. It does not burn the skin. If you have open skin it may sting momentarily. Then cover your body with glycerine (such as Curel) afterwards. It is a very low cost and effective treatment. Must never soak in hot water.

I've had Psoriasis for 31 years all over my body and I was coned to going to the Dead sea by adds. The dead sea does nothing for your Psoriasis, all it does do is make your body sting with pain if you have splits in your skin. Dead sea salt and mud might be good for some things but not for Psoriasis its all a big con and I have met other people that have spent months there and they will tell you the same thing. I have also lot jobs because of this
