Here is my 1988 Peugeot Triathlon single speed conversion. The frame and fork are Reynolds 501 Cro-Mo. The seat post, stem, handle bars, brakes and levers are all original. The pedals, tires and seat were from another bike. It cost me $200 for the conversion.

  • i have this same frame but its all silver. i love how its looking so far

  • this is awesome.....love it

  • Beautiful job!!! But I thought "restoration" means "restoring to original condition"?? This, I have to say is a "conversion". Regardless, very nice job! Just a beautiful bike!! Cheers!!

  • This is a singlespeed, not a fixie. Because the rear drop outs aren't horizontal (track bike style) and it, it has brakes and it has a freewheel most likely in the rearwheel.

  • @Brearzz Yeah, this bike should be a multispeed with deraillieurs. Because the real drop outs aren't track horizontal ones.

  • PULP FICTION!

  • Sweet fixie? Yes!

    Restoration? Unfortunately not..

  • very good taste

  • and to ad to the last comment. This was only a conversion... you never even touched the bottom bracket or headset. Please change the title...

    Peace

  • Restortation- The process of repairing or renovating a building, work of art, etc., so as to restore it to its original condition.

No, You didn't restore the bike
