  • great vid!

  • would make excuses and try and make out im not that much of a band geek really...but then uv got KH at the end of your username! lol. Would I be right in thinking you're in this?

  • sorry whoever replyed to this...i clicked remove instead of reply! In answer to your question, KH stands for Knighted Herald. Since the time of Elizabeth I, the monarch has bestowed this honour on all of their court musicians of which the Household Cavalry are the modern-day equivalent. On joining the band, they meet HM personally and can use the letters KH after their name :)

I find it terribly uncomfortable addressing any military person by a "nickname." I am an old US Marine, having served 28 years. I would like to comment that I find you and your comrades in the Blues & Royals, Life Guards, and the remaining Guards Regiments a scintillating example of what every young adult should strive for: excellence, bearing, and discipline. You should be commended, as well as your fellow servicemen, for service to your country. God bless.

  • lol you got me! yeah im on the back rank playing the clarinet

  • @adelaide102 Someone might tell him that but I don't think he will listen. As a matter of fact, the Blues and Royals do wear the chinstrap underneath the chin.

  • Great Band beautiful sound, is anyone going to tell the Director of Music that The Blues & Royals wear their curbchain under their bottom lip not the chin ?

  • @kittenkh Thank you!

  • @arbuckle123 ill put the request forward to the library im sure it wont be a problem!

  • @kittenkh Of course I meant "TO your Guard", but if you want to play "ON your Guard", please, feel free too.:)

  • @kittenkh By the way, would it be possible for you to play "On Your Guard" at the changing of the guard on saturday, 11th. of september in Windsor? (Provided, of course, that the rest of the band plays it too.) Just curious.

  • @kittenkh How could I?!!! You're the beauty playing the Bb clarinet, second from the left from the conductors view. Or am I wrong?
