@Tussin33 hes still adjusting, it takes some receivers a few years. Welker bounced around for several years before becoming a star. Just watch now that they have a real quarterback. David Garrard sucks. Every receiver that goes there winds up looking bad, I don't think Jerry Rice could do well with him
@Tussin33 yeah it only took Lewis FIVE years before he put up some good stats, a FIRST round pick. Those other guys haven't sniffed 1,000 yards and their wide receivers that have been in the league. Dillard injured himself in 2009 after 6 catches for over 100 yards and then had another injury in preseason in 2010, so either way you can't blow him off
i love the kid, hard worker, great ball skills, hands, route running and productivity. Only question is will he be fast enough to outrun 6-foot 4.3 40 Corners, and quick enough to breakaway from guys with good hips, and will he be strong/physical enough to get passes press coverage b/c i see alot of weak corners in zones in his conference. Maybe i would be more impressed to see him against Malcolm Jenkins or even a smaller guy in Alphonso Smith
Jenkins ran a 4.58 at the combine, not exactly a 6'0 4.3 corner, closer to a 4.6. Only a few corners run in the 4.3 range. Not one single corner got below 4.45 at this year's combine.
This guy has become a phenominal Pro.
