not an A model. A model hood has about a foot of fiberglass behind the front fender.

the reason kenworth made A models was to make room for 1693 cat engines and kt 450 cummins engines and V-12 detroits.

Good looking old A model would love to have one like that stretched out to about 300 inch wheel base with the 1693 cat and a 13 spd. with a 4 spd aux

love the amodel kw's there is a tanone here that runs out of nc to south carolina and florida hauling produde, with a big cam 400 and 10 spd, break my neck to look everytime i pass it on the road going the other way.
