This was the B-side for the single release of The Equals' song "Laurel and Hardy." I could find no other version on YouTube, and have put this together solely out of love for the music, and in hopes of exposing it to people who have never heard it, and to rekindle the interest of fans who had forgotten it.

  • Wish there was a compilation of all the Equals President singles B-sides.

    Cheers for uploading PhosphorDigital!

Yeah, man...this is super cool stuff. My old hometown pal Jeffrey Gaines (Google him) mentioned on Facebook back in June how much he liked this , and I'd never heard it. Two hours later, I'd bodged this together. Hardest thing was finding a decent hi-res image of the label! I love the guitar, Eddie's voice, the production quality...I love EVERYTHING about it. Thanks for weighing in!

  • @PhosphorDigital Eddie's voice? Eddie Grant wasn't the lead singer, it was Derv Gordon!!

  • @bigboy9442

You're absolutely correct, BigBoy...I apologize for my mistake. I only barely knew about these guys when I was a kid during their heyday. I think I was blinded by having just then (when I put the vid together, and when I responded to Pressuredrop's comment, above) mentally made the discovery of Eddie's earlier career. But hey, I'll just leave the mistake there, if only as a conversation starter! Cheers!

  • Thanks for this. I have the original mono single, but it's great to hear it in stereo. Fantastic track.
