I like the wave form on the right side, that is a nice touch.

This is so friggen cool as an overview or introduction. I am just loving it.

@PureZOOKS sure is, because your larynx and vocal cords make the sound, the nose can be used to alter the sound but it doesn't actually generate any sound. Sorry, I always pick semantics apart.

@jecissalynn Look up videos on "amplifying your overtones" by Miroslav Grosser. He teaches.

Is it wrong that I am using my nose to generate sound?

Is there anything specific that you do to produce the really high overtones? I can make all of the low to mid range ones, and they're pretty loud, but I can't seem to get those higher almost whistle-tone notes out at all.

@Zenweaponry my tongue approaches a K, not quite touching the roof of my mouth. i notice my tongue shifts to one side a small amount (right side for me) so theres just one side not touching the roof of my mouth. i think the smaller cavity is what you are going for. its like an E but more compressed into a tiny E. hmmmm... i hope this helps! happy new year!

@jecissalynn hey cool!! make sure you are making an L... once you hear the tones you will find that they kind of snap into place. you need to practice this until you develop muscle memory. keep trying at it, like when you first started to whistle and you could only make one not. you WILL make AMAZING overtones if you keep at it! HAVE FUN!!
