I think he cheaped shooted Mike Bossy, and Gillies came in and took him out. Ed Hospital was there for several days after this fight, and was never the same...his goon days ended here.

this is an infamous beating that Hospidor took, I'm no Islander fan but Gillies was a blood and guts hockey player, very tough.
