I put the submersible pump in the 6 inch stand pipe to over ride the ram pump in case I need more water then the ram can pump. I have replaced the one in the video with a duel 2 in ram with a commercial pressure tank. I will be posting a video of it soon

Really cool, but why do you have a submersible pump when I'm assuming you are using the Ram pump to get water from the spring to your house up the hill? I have a similar setup, spring 50' down, and I'm wanting to use a ram pump to get it to a gravity fed tank.
