The most enduring of rock/folk rock bands ever
-
Eagles...fine in their own genre...but not prog rock...apples and oranges
-
Tanglewood...better than Madison Square Garden....Tull arrived.
-
boston music hall was brilliant! but this was one of the best gigs ever.

I SAW THEM AT THE WEST PALM BCH AUD.IN THE EARLY 70'S. THE TOUR WITH THE RED PHONE BOOTH ON STAGE.FIVE MEN IN FULL LENGTH OVERCOATS,GLOVES,SCARVES,SHADE
S AND HATS WALKED TO THE FOOT OF THE STAGE,LOOKED OVER THE ENTIRE CROWD,LOOKED AT EACH OTHER,GAVE EACH OTHER THE NOD AND RIPPED THEIR CLOTHES OFF AND IT WAS THE BAND. THIS WAS SO CONVINCING EVERYONES MIND WAS BLOWN. POST THAT VIDEO IF ANYONE HAS IT. VERY COOL! -

I was born in '77 so I missed out on all of this Tull and Ian greatness, I can only see it through other people's eyes, so I am extremely grateful for all of you who post these videos that make me wish I could have been there! Thank you!!!

Saw the Aqualung tour at Music Hall in Boston. Best show. Best sound. Best damn drummer (besides Mitch Mitchell of course). Ian Anderson balled out a noisy fan during a quiet number. Great music!
They aren't as popular though. They deserve more.
