The Body Electric - Pulsing

This is an obscure new Zealand band from the 80's and as you can tell it sounds very much a product of it's time. This came out in 1982. . This mix combines the edit version and dub version.

I saw then play at the Windsor castle in Parnell 1983 or 4. Absolutely brilliant live. Had them booked to play at multi birthday bash but one or more of them involved in bad car accident and that was the end of that and the band from what I gather. Shame. They were ahead of their time here. I did name a racehorse after them and she (Body Electric) was a handy mare who won 5 or 6 races. Her half sister I nmamed Electronic and she was very good and won over a million bucks in Australia.

they did go on to release an album - 'presentation and reality'. I remember them playing a lunchtime gig at onslow college - they really were pretty good.
