Awesome Video Game Music 51: Monty on the Run Theme

Wow. This is just LEGENDARY. This is the ultimate epic chase music- it's frantic fun from the beginning to the end. This DEMANDS a remix! I especially love from 2:36 on, but this WHOLE TRACK is astoundingly amazing.

This just might be one of the greatest music tracks I've ever heard in a video game. It's use in I Wanna Be The Guy was also brilliant!

I still remember most levels of the game, cant do it first because its fucking hard, of course you'll need to memorize a few levels, but doing it requires a lot of skill.

IWBTG doesn't live from the original. but from the fangames. Play games like IWBTInsanity, IWBTCatastrophe, IWdodge everything or one of the other thousand fangames (i can even send you mine) and then say me there is no skill involved, then say me it's all about memorizing. You won't be able to.

That said I will explain it:

The original IWBTG is how you said, it's basically memorizing not more, not less, only a little skill is requiered (i wouldn't call it challenging though, I think this game is easy except for one boss).

But IWBTG (and here nearly every IWBTPlayer would agree with me)

I'm sorry to say but IWBTG is a completely over rated piece of shit cheap death game that survives due to nostalgia overloading. it comes down to memorization, not skill, compare it with something like mega man or ninja gaiden

Is it challenging? of course. but does it require skill? not so much all you have to learn is when and where to jump and when to avoid
