Here is a tongue-in-cheek re-invention/revision of history I created with a raytracer I wrote many years ago. Credit goes to Christopher Thomas for the idea of using a 3d spinning Earth in the logo. BTW, I used the "Classical Latin" pronunciation of "scientiam" and "scientia" instead of the "Ecclesiastical Latin" (or "church latin") due to the conflict between science and religion. However, I probably should have used "New Latin" which depending on the country it's spoken in, sounds more like Ecclesiastical Latin anyways.
