I was there when this happened. We were going to get out there and help, but we just put some burgers and dogs on the grill.

Total crap - avoid at all costs.

@JUMBiiExD the pilot didnt hit a flock of seaguls or any other birds and there was no fuel leak, it was total pilot error.

Me and another guy were the ones who swam out there when it happened. When we saw that the pilot was alright we went back to shore and let the pros come in and get the guy. There was oil about an inch thick floating on top of the water.
