@jeff76029jrm I'm not too sure what you're saying dude, but the CRF250X is a dirt bike, not a road bike for cruising around the city. You want a 'L' model for that.

The 'X' denotes that it's a bush bike - more suited to trail and enduro riding, if you're after a motocross bike you want an 'R'. The 250R would definetly be a bit quicker.

@wandfreak13 3 ways to tell...1.if theres a fat pipe on the side of the bike hen its a 2 stroke. 2. sound. 3. if a bike has an F in its name (CRF250X) then its a 4 stroke.

@BikeRiderTV no you dont L model is lame and you can make the 250x street legal same as the 450x

@BlargeMan don't get the 230. There good bikes, but you'll feel it's underpowered real quick. If you're gonna ride the track alot and trails a little, get the 250r. If you want to do alot of trails and some track time, get the X. Hope this helps.

@jeff76029jrm If you buy a BAJA Kit for it you can make it street legal, but it depends what state you live in and what the laws are.

I am trying to decide between this bike, the CRF230F and the CRF250R. Which of these would be best? I am 5' 6", I weigh about 155 pounds, but I won't be getting whatever bike I decide on for another few years. Which of these would be best in a few years time?
