Driver in the Toyota played it smart. Sat on his brakes until the Dodge was spinning his wheels, then it floored it. The Dodge had no traction, no chance. I wouldn't say Toyota is better, just played the game wiser.

@rangerRZR1 Ok, but that is not the answer to my question. First of all, why should the tax payers bail out GM. That has nothing to do with which company keeps more money in the USA. They should pay back and because they did not have a sound business plan, that got them into the position they are in. I think GM will come out of this bailout soon and wish them well. Now, how much money is kept in the US vs other countries on each vehicle sold. Again, you probably will not find this number

@ssimon64 Don't you mean Mexican built trucks are more reliable than "Made in America"? I'm just hoping when you say "Domestics" you are referring to the Toyota (at least 80% American parts and manufactured in the States) not the Dodge (around 60-70% American parts, Made in Mexico)
