DLR has developed a new robot named Agile Justin that is capable of tossing a baseball. This seemed like a natural compliment to Rollin' Justin's ability to catch a baseball, so they teamed them up for a friendly game of "catch."

  • Its got to pull the pin first.

  • nice for keeping the dog busy

  • you have doomed us all

  • I wonder why people still keep the gundam a secret. It's obvious that if you can build something small, you can build it big and better.

  • So these guys are the ones whom will be taking the Chinese jobs, over sea.

  • Nice, but can they play catch with Randy Johnson?

The DLR is the german space agency and there is no funding at all for military development of the JUSTIN system and there are no plans either. The system is aimed at 2 things: taking care of elder people and space applications like assisting astronauts or servicing of satellites. Because the throwing and catching of things is mastered now, exchanging tools and materials between 2 robots by throwing might actually be feasible in their daily work.
