SPOILERS

After 81 hands and a few hours of unofficial final table play, the 2011 WSOP Main Event November Nine is set. After laying low at the final table for the first couple hours of action, John Hewitt decided to get in the mix, but his involvement would have unfortunate consequences. Hewitt was eliminated in 10th place at the hands of Eoghan O'Dea, while the remaining players started bagging and tagging their chips and embarking on the three month adventure that comes with being a WSOP November Niner. Before we take a look at some of the last hands of the night, take a gander at the list of nine names you will soon be very familiar with.

Here are the chip counts and seat assignments for the official final table of the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event, including chip leader Martin Staszko, short stack Sam Holden, and online poker pros turned WSOP headliners, Ben Lamb and Phil Collins:

  • What's the big deal with JJ? He's under 10 blinds, has a fairly good pair and goes with it. I would have as well in his position even though I hate JJ, they do lose a lot don't they! he had to gamble it is poker after all!

  • @UrNuTzEr Thanks, bro. I understand the probability of jacks, but I've been playing for a long time, and jacks can get people in trouble. It's just kind of a joke that people around poker tables say, "hookers always get beat." Hookers because jacks look like they're curved hooks and hookers being prostitutes, of course, who always get beat by their pimps/clients. :)

  • @normalpsychology I agree with you, Jacks are beat like 70% of the time they go all-in, but man, if he lost the hand he'd be out of there and, of course, there wouldn't be 90 more minutes of November Nine bubble. Just to make it clear to everybody, I think normalpsych was only talking about the high risk of playing jacks.

  • @nguyenimproved I was talking about him losing ONE HAND, man, Jesus Christ.

  • @normalpsychology the title of the vid is main event 15/21.

    meaning theres 6 chapters left.

meaning he wont go out in this video.

    do the math.

  • @nguyenimproved Six... chapters...? What? lol

  • @normalpsychology youre a fucking moron if you thought he'd lose.

use your fuckin powers of deduction idiot.

theres still 6 fuckin chapters left.

  • wsop 2011 is boriiiing

  • Wow, jacks won. Ha.
