it doesn't need to dry, my friend just put the seed in the soil and after 4 days it sproused!

dont expect the seeds to be true to there parent tree because apple trees need cross polination and you dont know what tree it had sex with lol so the best way to get the variety you want is buy one already grafted on to a rootstock.
