  • @joewalshinjamesgang And the beatle's last official live performance with tickets was way before 1969

  • ♫♪♫ Ohhh I haaaaied it through the grapevine..♫♪♫

  • @joewalshinjamesgang AND NOT TO MAKE YOU FEEL STUPID BUT THE BEATLES BROKE UP WAY BEFORE 1972

  • @littlebigbrain There were many other bands at that time that were only strait Rock and Roll but the thing with that is playing just one type of music seems boring to me. While the Beatles played different styles and genres. Don't get me wrong i love CCR but i think the Beatles should get more respect than CCR should music wise because of their style, members and just about everything about them.= My Opinion

  • Epic

  • @Exarach suck dick much? :P

  • @joewalshinjamesgang From 1969 to 1972 CCR outsold the Beatles and as far as I know every other band on the planet. I was traveling the world at this time and one could hear their music across the globe. People forget what a huge band they were or the fact that they were probably the only straight Rock and Roll band on the scene.

  • @AtomicOrange22 Shorter versions of many songs were released as singles of about 3 to 4 minutes long. That started to change in the 1970s with the growth of FM radio stations in the USA where the DJs would often play the longer versions. One of the first songs to break the mould of the 2/3 minute pop song was the Moody Blues "Nights in white satin" in 1967. There was a short version but the DJs started playing the longer Album version. In the 1970s they often played a whole side.

  • @littlebigbrain With you on that. Lots of terrific covers of this song, but CCR's gets right into the heart of the matter with that long solo. Wouldn't have it any other way. I think it's brilliant.
