i give my horse choclate and crisps and sweets (only a tiny bit) so what? they like it sugar isnt good for us either but we still eat it without people making a huugeee deal out of it just beacuse their horses dosnt mean they cant have little treats they do so much for us they deserve somthing in return they wouldnt eat it if they knew it harmed them there very inteligent animals yanno there not dumb?they love it hahah

@Swallowchllorox That is so true! When I ride at my stables everybody brings treats for the horses and that is a bunch of sugar, but there fine!

You give it because it doesn't hurt? Do you know that coke has a buttload of sugar in it? Do you know what causes the hoof fever? SUGAR! and if some hay has too much sugar for horses, then does coke!

@gothixangel There are too many 'know it all's' in the horse world. We give horses sugar blocks as treats. A little sugar will do no harm. Geez. Sorry that some people are ass holes.
