starting homemade gokart

this is my homemade gokart i made with 2 push mowers. it has no welds on it and it is not completed. i still need to build the steering column. it was literally falling while it was running

how did u get the stright shaft to turn the weel plz respond

the rear axle or the engine shaft?? well the rear axle is turned but the pulley that u see spinnin, that pulley spins a worm gear and turns the shaft, the shaft is geared down a second time inside the wheels with some gears

the engine shaft still needs a pulley put on, so it never did drive, its just sitting in my garage rite now!! :P

it doesnt move yet cause i cant get that shaft collar off for the blade that used to be on there, when i do get that off, ill replace it with a pulley then build some kind od steerin system

hey, i dont know what its technical name is but i pulled it out of a self propelled pushmower. it has a lever on it for the clutch.

you should use a torch to losen it and try prying on it.wd-40 is ur friend and also a torch.
